Management

While reading drug interactions found in DrugBank, the term "management" may be seen. This term refers to the clinical recommendation made when the concomitant administration of certain drugs is considered. It may include the cessation of a drug, avoidance of concomitant drug administration, dose changes, patient monitoring, or other types of interventions. Management recommendations may be obtained from drug product labels, research literature searches, and clinical guidelines, among other resources.
