Property given to drugs related to the exhibition of spontaneous disintegration of unstable nuclei with the emission of nuclear particles or photons.1 This property is measured in curie (Ci), for the British system, and becquerel (Bq), for the metric system. These measurement units represent the number of atoms that decay in a given time.2
